It is Springfield's first annual Family Day, and the Simpson family is in attendance. Homer wants to leave as soon as possible because they do not sell beer at the festival, but when he sees that Moe has a stall and is selling Moe Cream Soda he begins to drink, and becomes drunk despite Moe telling him that it is not beer.
