The Los Angeles Dodgers, formerly the Brooklyn Dodgers, are a current Major League Baseball (MLB) team in Los Angeles, California.

History

Former players Mike Scioscia and Darryl Strawberry played for the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team.[1]

When Homer arrived in India he asked a woman where he was. She told him he was an ignorant American, who had confused India with Indiana, Indiana with Illinois, and the Cubs with the Dodgers.[2]

The Brooklyn Dodgers were on Mr. Burns' wish list.[3]

Former Dodger Kirk Gibson's walkoff home run against former Athletic closer Dennis Eckersley in game one of the 1988 World Series was once seen on television.[4]
