Mall or Nothing is a Simpsons Comics story featured in Simpsons Comics #116.

The Simpsons are in Springfield Mall, where Homer takes a nap on a couch before he meets his family again one hour after the agreement time. Homer tell to Marge at he has thinking, he need some time to himself to get away from the hustle and bustle and rules of daily life. Marge asks if he need a place to himself, like a den. Homer decides then to build his own room, he change Maggie's room to his own and let her move in to Lisa. Marge tell him at it was not like she thought, she thought he would choose the basement. On the night Lisa can not sleep and she is tired in the morning, at the breakfast, the Simpson family get visits from Usurpco Commerical Development Corporation who want to buy the house to make the new Springfield Emporia Shopping Mall. Homer looks out and sees that all the houses in the neighborhood has been demolished and he has no neighbors anymore, but Homer tell them that at they will not move.

They tell Homer at they can still build the shopping center, the supervisor of the building reminds then that if the mall is not up in time for Christmas shopping take the anchor stores back their contracts and they already blow their financial and the guy that note will sell his hose can take them to court for months. They then get an idea, they building the mall around the house. A few mornings later, it turns out that during one night they had built the mall around their house. Homer and Bart loves it, they now live in a mall. Bart begins to watch movies for free in the movie theater, Homer starts drinking at Sorhead McDrunkard's Irish Pub in the mall and Lisa visit Seattle's Gloomiest Coffee, where she us the Internet to find something that could get them to close the mall but does not succeed, she tells Marge that it seems like a hopeless cause. The next day, Bart and Milhouse try to sell lemonade but are forced to stop selling it when the security guard tell them that undercutting the guaranteed lowest prices at Sourpuss Sam's Lemonopolis. Homer is never at home anymore so Marge start to look after him and find him in the TV shop where he says that his life has changed for the better but Marge tell him that she is also worried about the kids, but Homer does not care.

Lisa leaves the mall and visit the Springfield Library after a few hours, she finds something on the map of the Springfield settlement. Later in the Usurpco Headquarters when they managers have a meeting came Lisa and tell tom them that she has something important to say, the year was 1803 when Jebediah Springfield was returning from a fur trapping trip down the river, his canoe drifts south into explored territory but he was found by members of the Woppakomie Tribe, they nursed him back to health and to repay their kindness he signed a peace treaty with the tribe's chief. The Peace Treaty clearly states any living tribe member or descendant of the Woopakomie tribe is entitled to the land and according the map is the mall on that land. Lisa welcomes then Lenny Leonard which is the only surviving descent of the Woppakanomie tribe and they must give the mall to him. Marge is happy that Lisa got them to close the mall, but don't like they now live in an Indian casino but Bart and Homer is happy.
