• The title is a parody of The Great Santini.
• During Cregg Demon's act, "Milkshake", by Kelis plays.
• Cregg Demon is a parody of Criss Angel, backed up by the fact he calls himself "Cregg Demon, Magicfreak!", a parody of Criss Angel's "Criss Angel, Mindfreak!"
• The cover of "The Great Simpsina: The Invisible Infant", features the word "POOF" with some little clouds, which is a reference to Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents and the show's baby fairy, Baby Poof. In the series, a cloud with the word "POOF" appears when one or several magical beings make magic.
