The fourth content update, known as the Level 23 content update, for The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released on November 5, 2012.

This update did not remove the Halloween features; the price of the Ray Gun was decreased by 50.

The update was 52.7MB.

Western Civilization

After tapping on Quimby's exclamation mark Springfield is calm and happy. I can't have that! No one will vote for me if they don't have made-up fears that I can pretend to save them from. This reasonableness will not stand! We need to rebuild Channel 6 news to bring confusion and misinformation back to the media! After tapping on Kent Brockman's exclamation mark This just in: me! I'm Channel 6's sole survivor... and also the sports anchor and weather girl. Kent Brockman. You were brought back for one reason and one reason only -- to bring fear mongering back to the every day airwaves. And I am the perfect man for that job! Just give me four hours in the makeup chair and I'll be good to go! The player receives "All The News That's Fit To Slant" which is to "Make Brockman Do an Undercover Report". It takes 24 hours. The player receives total 700 and 160 in reward.

Good Night and Good Grief

After tapping on Kent Brockman's exclamation mark Tonight: meet America's fattest kitten! But first -- Springfield Nuclear Power Plant's explosion causes horror and destruction of epic proportions! Luckily, I've survived to tell the tale, and you've survived to watch it and buy the stuff in the commercials. The player receives "Good Night and Good Grief" which is to "Broadcast Channel 6 News". It takes 16 hours and cost 1,200. The player receives total 2,850 and 710 in reward.

Start The Revelation Without Me

After tapping on Kent Brockman's exclamation mark This story of disaster and death needs a little more juice! Mr. Brockman, there is a book which I urge you to read. The one I wrote? I haven't read it yet, but I hear it's good. No, the Bible! Perhaps it can give you some context on the destruction of Springfield and rebirth of this new Springfield by the touch of a greater power. I beg you: do your job! Fascinating... Now here's an angle I can exploit! Kent Buy Me Love... Or... Ratings

After tapping on Kent Brockman's exclamation mark The raiting on your Biblical segment were bad. Krusty re-run bad. This is Pilitzer-level infotainment! Why isn't anyone watching? Did you see it? Sorry, but like everyone else under the age of 75, I get all my news from the Internet. And this story is old! It's been T'd, RT'd, and MT'd hundred times by now. So the internet is good for something besides mass-ordering my book to make it look like it's a best-seller? The player receives "Kent Buy Me Love... Or... Ratings" which is to "Build the Brown House" and "Make Brockman Creat a Viewtube Video". It takes 4 hours. The player receives total 210 and 60 in reward.

Kent-Nichal Difficulties

Not all of us are young enough to get all our news off the Radio Typewriter Box you know. Fine! We'll bring back the Weather report -- but I won't smile! Bumblebee Man

A Del Dos Sano Terrible

What do you mean you don't need me? That's not on the cue cards. My moment is finally here! My stinger can barely contain itself! The player receives "Dateline: Unemployment", which is to "Make Bumblebee Man Fill In as News Anchor" Bumblebee Man's task takes 8 hours and rewards the player with 420 and 105 when it is set on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Channel Ocho!

After tapping on Bumblebee Man's exclamation mark Time for work-o! Ay-chee-wawa!
