Cultural references
- Bart watches a parody of John Wick: Chapter 4 on television.
- The character on Comic Book Guy's pajamas is a feline version of GIR from Invader Zim.
- Alarmist is a parody of the Citizen app, an app that sends users location-based safety alerts in real time.
- Bullseye is a parody of Target, which is even pointed out in its slogan of "our logo looks like a target!".
- The Simpsons and Ned sing "Happy Birthday to You" to Marge.
- Professor Frink makes a version of Frankenstein's Monster, which he refers to as "Frink's Monster". Frink's Monster keeps referring to itself as "Frink", referencing the common misconception that Frankenstein's Monster is just called Frankenstein.
- Homer says that the broken sprinkler could activate a Gremlin, a reference to the movie Gremlins where the Gremlins become monsters when exposed to water.

Goofs
- Lisa says, "Mom's birth announcement. Oh, her name is Marjorie, not Margaret." In Season 27 Lisa said Marjorie instead of Mom emulating how Bart calls Homer by his first name which Marge knows is out of disrespect. ("How Lisa Got Her Marge Back"). In Season 31 Ralph playing the role of Homer said the opening line "Where's my beer, Marjorie?" in Long Day's Journey Into Light Beer, the play about her family Lisa wrote for the school's dramatic showcase.
