Cultural References

Trivia
- Ned's ATM pin number is 5316.
- Gravestones appear at the cemetery during Maude's funeral of deceased people that died earlier in the series except Dr. Marvin Monroe, who would be later seen in Season 15 in "Diatribe of a Mad Housewife", alive.
- Moe says he's been banned from church (when he talks to Ned); however, in "Treehouse of Horror X," Moe is seen in the congregation. (This is not a goof, though, as Treehouse Of Horror episodes are considered Non-Canon.)
- Maude's death had been conceived due to her voice actor, Maggie Roswell, left the series in 1999 after a pay dispute and writers wanting to open up with new storylines without her. Although this is Maude's final regular appearance as Roswell reprises occasionally.
