Trivia
- There is no opening sequence in this episode, making it the third episode in a row not to have one. However, unlike the last two episodes, it had a title screen gag.
Goofs
- In an early scene, where Krusty is talking to his merchandising executives, he has a green part of his tuxedo, but in the next scene with him in, the green part has turned to black.
- Johnny Tightlips is seen at the bar area of the party, but his colors are changed in the next shot. His hair and eyebrows are colored pale yellow, and his suit is colored beige (but the collar of his pinstripe shirt is still visible).
- When Mr. Burns enters the Simpsons' house, the drinks table has disappeared.
- In the scene after the meeting with the mayor in Homer's office, the tie pin on Homer's tie moves up and down.
- When Homer enters the Simpson household, he has a pocket on his shirt, however when he tells Lisa at the top of the stairs that he had eighteen martinis, his shirt pocket has disappeared. Also, when he enters the household he has a pin on his tie which he did not have earlier.
- The dialogue Lisa says before Bart starts reading Little Women does not match her mouth's movements.
- As Homer puts the chopped up contract into his suitcase, the pieces become smaller.
- When Homer is about to run over Smithers with the Lawn Deere, the text is reversed.
- Bart finishes reading Little Women but is in the middle of the book when he does.
- In several shots, the picture of Grampa on the wall in the living room is not drawn correctly and his stubble has been coloured in yellow.
- In the scene where Homer goes to Moe's and Moe is asleep on the bar ledge, Homer enters the bar and we find that the bar ledge has somehow extended itself, so when Homer entered, he would have to turn left to go into the bar, and in the scene later, the ledge returns to normal.
- Between Homer coming into the tavern and sitting down, Moe moves along the bar and several barstools disappear.
- When Homer drinks the last of his bourbon in his glass in the living room, there are four ice cubes in the cup. Then, Homer tells Marge that his work is so meaningless, and the ice cubes in the cup have gotten bigger and one is missing. And after Maggie crashes her mini-car into the wall, the shot pans out to reveal a police car on the floor. Homer has now got four ice cubes in his glass, and Maggie's rattle, cup and building blocks have disappeared.
- When Maggie enters her mini-car, there is a blue oval on the flower where it shouldn't be.
- Maggie goes into the other room after crashing her mini-car, and the expression on the face on one of the doors has changed, and there are no bumpers on the wheels.
- In Robert Marlow's bedroom, there is a glass of bourbon on the beside table. The bourbon is not stretched out to the right edge of the glass.
- Part of the first of Marge's dialogue when she is in Robert's apartment does not match her mouth's movements.
- In the shot of Robert Marlow's apartment when Marge is there, there is not a table and chairs on the green rug. When Robert walks towards Marge, there is a table and chairs on the green rug.
- Also in the shot of Robert's apartment when Marge is there again, there is a boat next to the green rug. It cannot be judged whether it is a model boat, or the animators drew it accidentally in the apartment and not in the sea. Later on, the boat on the floor has gone, meaning that the animators probably drew it in the apartment and not in the sea.
- In Robert's apartment, the wall where the set of drawers are is orange. In a shot of Robert holding a glass, the color of the wall has changed to white.
- When Robert puts his cigarette in a tray on a set of drawers near the door, the door is brown, with darker brown panels. In the next shot, the panels are closer together and the colors of the door and the panels have gotten lighter. Also, when Luann enters, the panels on the outer door have gotten further apart and the panels are thinner. Cutting to a shot of the door, the panels have gotten back to their normal width, but are still further apart.
- When Dolph snatches the Little Women book from Bart, the outer circle of the tunnel is light grey (and there are no lines on the tunnel, unlike in the shots before). When Bart explains that he had to read the book to Lisa, the outer circle has gotten darker grey.
- When Bart is reading Little Women in the tunnel at Springfield Elementary, there is no butterfly bookmark. When he is reading the book to the bullies, there is a butterfly bookmark sticking out of the book.
- In the shot of Bart reading Little Women and the bullies sitting down next to the tunnel, the butterfly bookmark is all pink and the colors of the butterfly have not been colored in.
- When Homer puts the Rattler River Canyon leaflet on the table (which has been stretched), his bourbon and the leaflet are at the left side (our view) of the table. When Mr. Burns enters and is about to sit down, Homer's bourbon glass has moved to the right side of the table, and the leaflet (still stretched) is in the middle of the table.
- Another ice cube goof: In Homer's office, Homer talks to Marge about family - there are four ice cubes in Homer's glass. From shots then on, there are two ice cubes in the glass.
- The table in Homer's office is oval shaped. When Mr. Burns picks up the Rattler River Canyon leaflet, the shape of the table has changed to a semi-circle.
- In a shot with Homer holding a glass of bourbon, while Mr. Burns watches him, Homer's glass is striped. From bottom to top: Bourbon, Glass color (the error), lighter brown shade of Bourbon, and the ice cubes.
- After Homer's shot of cogs in his head, and now Homer's bourbon glass on the table has emptied, there are no ice cubes in the glass, neither is there any bourbon. In the next shot when Homer picks up his golf club, the bourbon glass is half-full, the table is back to its oval shape, and the top of the couch has now got a curve in it, like in the shot when Homer is putting fish into their tank with a golf club.
- When Homer is golfing fish into their fish tank in his office, a table with a telephone on it is in front of the fish tank. Later when Homer puts (with a golf club) a lizard into its tank, the table has moved.
- Dottie is standing next to a lamp. The lamp shade is in a sort-of rectangle shape. In the next shot, it has been stretched out.
- The first part of Marge's first dialogue in the first rafting shot does not match her mouth's movements.
- On the river, when Homer sees the Power Plant's dinghy, the rock and the bushes stop and go into the water. In the next shot, the rock is still there and has now got trees on it. After Homer swims to the dinghy and pretends to put in his 'contact lense', behind him is a sort-of rock face.
- When a man on the Power Plant's dinghy asks Homer why he got The Diversity Kittens, the DVD is not playing on the portable DVD player. Cutting to the DVD cover, and panning to see the portable player, the DVD is playing.
- The girl on the Drunk Girls Who Signed Waivers DVD's speech ("Are you sure you're Martin Scorsese?") doesn't match her mouth's movement.
- Earlier, in the first scene on the river, there are paddles on the Simpson family's dinghy. After getting the right DVD from the family's dinghy, Homer swims to the Power Plant dinghy again, leaving a shot of the dinghy. The paddles have disappeared, and so has the portable DVD player that Bart was watching the DVD on. A shot of both of the dinghies later on reveals that in the Simpsons' dinghy, the DVD player has returned.
- When Homer is peeing on the middle rock in the river, he is not peeing at all, unless it is out of our view.
- In a shot of Homer in the river, behind him there is no rock face in the river.
- When Homer is falling down the falls from our view, Homer's legs are missing.
- In an above view of Marge and Homer kissing in bed, the space between their chests, is a dark shade of green, not pink.
