Plot
After being kicked out of the Springfield Investorettes Club, Marge buys a Pretzel business. The food if good, but the business performs badly, as the Investorettes' Pita business seemingly steal her customers at every turn. The final straw comes when Marge offers free pretzels to everyone at Springfield Stadium - before they can take a bite, the crowd are enraged by the actions of Mr. Burns, and all throw their pretzels at him. Homer, in an attempt to cheer up a dejected Marge and help her business, hires Fat Tony and the Mafia (out of an ad they placed in the church bulletin) to take out her competitors. The Girl Scouts, Hans Moleman's hot dog stand, Luigi's Restaurant, and eventually the Investorette's Pita business all fall, and Marge is elated when money and orders roll in.
Homer's plan later backfires as Fat Tony demands all the profits from the Pretzel business, and he has to come clean to Marge that he hired the Mafia. However, just as the Mafia arrive at the Simpson home to "collect", the Investorettes once again out do her and appear with the Japanese Yakuza. A mob war ensues on their front lawn.
