"The Yellow Lotus" is the second episode of season 36 of The Simpsons and the seven-hundred and seventieth episode overall. It will air on October 6, 2024. The episode was written by Loni Steele Sosthand and directed by Rob Oliver.[1][2][3]
Synopsis
- "The Simpsons encounter death on vacation at a high-end resort.[6]"
Mike Reiss and his wife Denise will appear as cameos in the background in a flashback.[7][8]
Production
Originally "The Beautiful Shame" had a production code 35ABF08[9]. However, in January of 2024 "The Yellow Lotus" script was read with this code[1], while "The Beautiful Shame" was postponed.[10]
