Obeseus the Wide and Marjora lived in Rome. Obeseus was brought to Rome as a slave owned by Marjora's father, Gordus Antonius. Eventually, Obeseus' son, Bartigula, became the emperor of Rome.

Other emperors in Rome were Emperor Quimbus and Emperor Montimus. Obeseus was also a senator of Rome.[1]

Rome is mentioned when one of the Southern RV-ers, whom Homer invited to his house, sings his own version of the song "I've Been Everywhere".[2]
