Columbus is the capital city of Ohio.
History[edit]
While in The Prodigy Barn toy store, Bart was playing a video game that involved blasting the capital cities of every state. He was having fun, until he realized that it was an educational game and threw the controller at the TV screen, exclaiming "That'll teach you to teach me!"[1]
Seymour Skinner applied to Ohio State University in Columbus. He later visited the university after finding out that he had actually been accepted there.[2]
Anastasia, the mail-order bride from Russia for Moe as part of a prank by Bart, is a con artist from Columbus.[3]
