The Good Son is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Treehouse of Horror XXV content update. It required Hugo to be obtained.

Dialogue[edit]

Pt. 1[edit]

After unlocking Hugo Hugo, I want you to know, that even though you're a weird little monster-face, I think of you as a son. I AM your son! Bart and I were conjoined twins. Don't you remember? Right, right. I really should remember that. Let me take you out to Krusty Burger, uh, son. All I eat are fish heads. But I have extra, wanna join me for dinner? Absolutely. You get started and I'll be right there. Task: "Make Hugo Eat Fish Heads". The job takes 4 hours. Task: "Make Homer Way Oversleep for a Power Nap". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 4 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 2[edit]

After tapping on Hugo's exclamation mark Dad? I missed you at dinner. I'm sorry. I'm just not that much of an eater. You're eating two buckets of chicken right now. Yeah. I'm also incredibly inconsistent. Dad? Yes, boy. I mean – Son? Are you embarrassed of me? What?! No! No, no, no, no, no! Absolutely not. Oops, I think that's someone at the door. Time to go to your attic, where no one can see you. Task: "Make Hugo Sleep in the Simpson Attic". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 24 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 3[edit]

After tapping on Hugo's exclamation mark Oh, Pigeon-Rat, you're my only friend. My family is embarrassed of me. Let's you and I take a walk, and clear our heads. I wish I knew what all those coos and squeaks mean. *Please don't take us outside. We don't want to be seen with you, freak!* Task: "Make Hugo Walk the Pigeon-Rat". The job takes 12 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 4[edit]

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark Hugo, your father and I are sorry that we've hidden you away all this time. I guess it's the whole "evil twin" thing. But I'M the good twin. Oh, that's right. That was the twist. Why do we keep forgetting that? 'Cause you're a lard-head. Smell ya later, gang. Task: "Reach Level 12 and Build Bart's Treehouse". Task: "Make Hugo Clean His Room". The job takes place at the Simpson House and takes 8 hours. Task: "Make Bart Paintball in the Brown House". The job takes place at a Brown House and takes 2 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 5[edit]

After tapping on Hugo's exclamation mark The more time I spend with my family, the more I'm convinced they are ALL evil twins. I have to find a place of my own. Message You can now build Spooky Houses in the Make-a-thing Workshop. These houses will generate a daily Treat Bag! Task: "Craft and Build a Spooky House". It takes 8 hours. Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 6[edit]

After completing Pt. 5 Task: "Nap at the Spooky House". The job takes place at a Spooky House and takes 16 hours. Quest reward: 200 and 20

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The quest name is a reference to the film The Good Son.
