Company Information
|
D.C. Comics is a publisher of comic books.
History[edit]
Bart read one of their comics, Aquaman and Superman.[1]
When Comic Book Guy noticed a new comic store had opened up across the street he said at it can't be true as it would be like Superman moving to Gotham City. Martin Prince pointed out that he did it in World's Finest Comics #94 and pointed to the comic, published by DC.[2]
In the film Everyman, Everyman absorbed the abilities from an issue of Wonder Woman.[3]
Homer asks Gal Gadot what else she has done since The Fast and the Furious, Gadot asks him: "Did you see Wonder Woman?", whereupon Homer answers he usually immediately falls asleep whenever he sees the DC logo.[4]
The sign at the Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop says "Have a Marvel Christmas and a DC New Year".[5]
One of the "Pastor Pusher" memes has Homer labeled "Marvel" and Reverend Lovejoy labeled "DC".[6]

Behind the Laughter[edit]
DC Comics is a real comic book publisher.
Due to the book Man and Superman being published by G.B. Shaw, D.C. Comics may be a reference to how the author has two initials and another word in their name.
