The Shelbyville Shelbyvillians are a baseball team based in Shelbyville.

History[edit]

The Simpson family watched a game between the Shelbyvillians and Springfield Isotopes at the Nuclear Plant Employee, Spouses and No More than Three Children Night. At the game, Mr. Burns sat with Homer, taunting the Isotopes, who were expected to lose their 27th consecutive game, reportedly the longest losing streak in professional baseball. But when Homer fired up the crowd to the tune of "Baby Elephant Walk", the Isotopes won a game.[1]
