Harry Julius Shearer (born December 23, 1943) is an award-winning American actor, voice actor, author, filmmaker, humorist, musician, radio host, and writer, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live (1979–1980, 1984–1985) and The Simpsons (1989–present). He voices many characters, including Kent Brockman, Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Julius Hibbert, Kang, Lenny Leonard, Timothy Lovejoy, Jr., Otto Mann, Seymour Skinner, Waylon Smithers and Rainier Wolfcastle. He is married to Welsh singer-songwriter Judith Owen who voiced herself in the season 13 episode "The Blunder Years".

Possible departure in Spring 2015

In May 2015, Harry Shearer told by twitter that he wouldn't be in the show anymore and that he hadn't signed the same deal as the rest of the cast had. Then, in July 7, he said he returned to the show and signed that deal.[1]
