Waynesport is a town in the USA. It is located on a railroad line that goes to Springfield.

History

The Springfield Pee-Wee Football team once played a game against Waynesport.[1]

Larry Burns lives in Waynesport, where he owns a souvenr stand located near the railroad tracks. A train carrying Mr. Burns and Smithers from a football game back to Springfield was stopped near Larry's stand due to a couch being on the tracks. Larry, seeing an opportunity to make sales among the passengers on the stopped train, approached the train and was shocked to see Mr. Burns on board. He later hitched a ride with the Simpson family to Springfield and visited Mr. Burns, introducing himself as Burns' long-lost illegitimate son.[2]
