Nuclear Power Man and Iron Foot: Heroes for Rent or Lease to Own is a superhero comic book starring Carl Carlson as Nuclear Power Man and Lenny Leonard as Iron Foot.

History[edit]

When Bart and Lisa were looking for comics featuring people from Springfield, Apu showed them his favorite comic, Nuclear Power Man and Iron Foot.

Plot[edit]

In the 1970s, Carl Carlson was knocked into a nuclear vat by Homer Simpson and gained super strength from it. Meanwhile, Lenny Leonard had watched more kung fu movies than any man alive and gained the power to turn his foot into something similar to iron. The two of them then became Nuclear Power Man and Iron Foot.

Near Christmas, Nuclear Power Man and Iron Foot were getting ready for Christmas dinner. As Iron Foot slowly walked up the stairs, due to his foot being heavy, the city caught fire. The Heroes for Rent then went to save the day. The supervillain Disco Inferno was busy setting fire to the city. The cops had tried to send in the Village People to negotiate, but they were set on fire by Disco Inferno. Nuclear Power Man and Iron Fist then went to stop him.

Disco Inferno burns off Nuclear Power Man's afro. When he then threatens to kill Disco Inferno, Linus van Pelt shows up and tells them that they forgot the true meaning of Christmas. Iron Foot then finally gets there and kicks Linus into the sky, thinking that he was a threat. Later that day, Nuclear Power Man, Iron Foot, Disco Inferno, the Village People and a heavily bandaged Linus sat around the table for Christmas dinner together.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The comic is a parody of Heroes for Hire, a superhero team in Marvel Comics.
