McGregor: Gardener of Destiny is a musical performed by the Springfield Elementary School. It starred Alexander Hubley as Farmer McGregor.
History[edit]
Springfield Elementary School was putting on a Peter Rabbit musical, with Martin in the starring role of Peter Rabbit. Principal Skinner had Hub audition for the play, and he got the part of Farmer McGregor. When Skinner saw how few lines Hub had, he pressured Mr. Largo to give him a larger role. Mr. Largo quit the play after and left Skinner in charge. Skinner then had Lisa rewrite the play to make Farmer McGregor the main character, which annoyed Martin.
The play became McGregor: Gardener of Destiny and Skinner and Willie put up posters with Hub on to advertise the play. When the play was due to start, Hub got stage fright and ran away. The opening of the play went on without him, where Peter Rabbit was dead. When his father and mother confronted him about running away from his boarding school, Hub agreed to leave with them. However, he decided to give his performance in the play, where he improvised a speech thanking Skinner for looking after him and believing in him.
