The Grammy Awards is an award ceremony for musical achievement.

History[edit]

After Sideshow Bob won an Emmy, a prison guard took the award from him. He said that awards for excellence in entertainment were contraband. A Grammy Award was seen in a box.[1]

The Be Sharps won a Grammy for "Outstanding Soul, Spoken Word, or Barbershop Album of the Year". David Crosby was the presenter. At the after-party, Aerosmith, Spinal Tap, and Leon Kompowsky were in attendance.[2]

In a fantasy sequence, an adult Bart was polishing Lisa's numerous awards, including her Academy Award, Grammy Award, and Nobel Peace Prize. However, Lisa demanded silence and kicked Bart, who was then impaled on her Nobel Peace Prize.[3]

One ceremony was hosted by Ozzy Osbourne. The award for Best Hardcore Thrash Metal went to Simpsons Christmas Boogie, to Osbourne's shock. The Simpson family had already won several awards.[4]
