History[edit]

When Eliza Simpson and Dr. Bartley wanted to identify the murder weapon used by the Mutton Chop Murderer, they went to Emporium of Exotica and asked Comic Book Guy if he could identify the sword. He told them that it was part of the Swords of Osiris and that he had sold them previously. After unsuccessfully trying to get them to buy a copy of Daunting Deeds, Comic Book Guy went into the back room to get his ledger to find out who bought the Swords of Osiris. However, the Mutton Chop Murderer stabbed him before he could tell Simpson and Bartley. As Comic Book Guy was dying, he tried to grab the bottle of Prof. Lazarus' Dead-No-More Elixir from the shelf in his store, but knocked it over onto a stool instead. The stool then came to life and called himself Simon Stoolowitz before he left the store. Simpson and Bartley then took the ledger from the now-dead storekeeper's hands and found that C. Ebenezer Burns had bought the swords.
