Ella McKay Promo is a special short that served as a promotion for James L. Brooks' film Ella McCay, which will release in theaters on December 12, 2025. The promo was released on December 4, 2025.
Marge and Lisa leave the Aztec Theater after watching Ella McCay and talk about the film. Marge tells Lisa to not go overboard, but Lisa points out that Marge was laughing whenever she did. Marge tells Lisa that she wants her to control herself emotionally. Lisa asks why she should control herself when a movie finally gets to her, speaks to her, shows her a woman who encourages her, makes her believe that her life can mean something, and makes her stop looking into the void. Marge says that the movie was almost great, but then Lisa points out she cried at the end and she's crying right now. Marge says that she's glad that everything worked out so well for Ella McCay. Marge and Lisa then quote the end of the film, saying "there's hope for all of us." They then decide to go and watch the film a second time.
