Grampa tells Marshall Goldman a story about how he and some other sailors, during WWII, survived a shipwreck by riding on the backs of a group of sharks. One of the sailors in his story says that riding a shark is like "riding a dust devil back in Yuma, like I read about in a book back in Boston."
