Moscow is the capital city of Russia.

History

After Homer accidentally piloted a nuclear submarine into Russian waters, the Russian government went back to being a communist government. Parade floats in Moscow were seen turning into tanks, and Soviet Union flags were hung.[2]

In one issue of Radioactive Man, there was a complaint letter from Grampa. He was complaining about a villain, named the "Crimson Commisar", who was said in one issue to be from Minsk, but another issue said that he was from Moscow. Abe's letter went on to say that if the editors didn't stop making these stupid mistakes, then they were "going to lose this reader, and a lot of others too".[3]
