At the end of the 2004 season, they were moved to Washington to become the current {{W|Washington Nationals}}. Their closest run to the postseason and World Series was in the 1994 season, but a player-owner strike ended the season in August. Their uniforms featured white, blue and red, instead of the brown and orange seen in the jersey above.
