Don Payne (died March 26, 2013) was an American writer. On The Simpsons he largely co-wrote episodes with John Frink. He moved to screenwriting and wrote such movies as My Super Ex-Girlfriend (2006), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) and the upcoming Thor (2011). He remained on the show as a consulting producer until his death in March 2013.[1]
