The family see the Re-Deadining which Lenny Leonard stars in. He dies and later Bart and Lisa are scared when they go to bed and then they hear a noise from the attic. It's Artie Ziff. Homer then claims he killed him. Artie gives his company to Homer when they are playing cards, Homer is unaware that Artie is on the run and is sent to jail. Everyone hates him for it. But he finds love with Patty Bouvier. He dumps her in order to save Homer.
