Grampa was voted "the handsomest boy in Albany, New York".[1]

Seymour Skinner claims that "steamed hams" is an Albany expression.[2]

After Police Cops change lead character Homer Simpson from a cool hero into a bumbling idiot, Homer gains a following waiting for him to do something stupid. At the Plant, with a crowd of colleagues watching, Homer spills his fondue pot over the control panel, shorting out the circuitry and in turn blacking out Albany.[3]

While in The Prodigy Barn toy store, Bart was playing a video game that involved blasting the capital cities of every state. He was having fun, until he realized that it was an educational game and threw the controller at the TV screen, exclaiming "That'll teach you to teach me!"[4]
