Playdate with Destiny is an animated short film starring Maggie Simpson. The short will air from March 6, 2020 onwards before showings before the Pixar film Onward.[1][3]
Production
After Tom Gammill and Max Pross wrote "The Incredible Lightness of Being a Baby", James L. Brooks they could turn the part of the story about Maggie's relationship with Hudson into a theatrical short. Whilst the short was being worked on, "The Incredible Lightness of Being a Baby" was delayed. The short was worked on by Gammill, Pross, David Silverman, Matt Groening, Michael Price and animator Matt Sullivan.[2]
