Trivia
- Jenny resembles Samantha Stanky from "Bart's Friend Falls in Love". Ironically, the exact reverse of the episode's events seem to be the main plot line.
- Milhouse said "Hello Bart" in a similar fashion to Sideshow Bob.
- The title is a reference to characters. (The good to Jenny, the sad to Milhouse and the drugly to Lisa).
- It is also a reference to the film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Cultural references
- When Lisa searches for what Springfield will be like in 50 years on the computer, she searches the web site Oogle, a very obvious parody of Google.
