Edward Peter "Ed" McMahon, Jr. (March 6, 1923 – June 23, 2009) was an American announcer and comedian, best known for being Johnny Carson's sidekick and announcer on The Tonight Show. He voiced himself in the season 10 episode "Treehouse of Horror IX".
