Christmas is a religious festival celebrated by Christians.

History
On Christmas, the Simpsons have often had arguments over things. One year, Homer spent all their money on a present for himself. Another year, Bart accidentally destroyed all the presents and decorations and made up a story about being robbed by a crazy Scottish hairy man. Another year, Gil stayed in the house and ruined Christmas for everyone.
However, there are some good Christmases. They got Santa's Little Helper for Christmas one time after he was abandoned by his owner.
