"Bottle Episode" is the thirteenth episode of season 36 of The Simpsons and the seven-hundred and eighty-first episode overall. It originally aired on December 29, 2024. The episode was written by Rob LaZebnik and Johnny LaZebnik and directed by Gabe DeFrancesco. It guest stars Robert Parker as himself.
"Bottle Episode" was dedicated in memory of former writer William Wright, who died on December 16.

Synopsis

Plot
Smithers is doing lackey tasks with Mr. Burns, including duck hunting, where Burns shoots a shot but he throws down pre-killed ones, evicting the Springfield Children's Hospital, and transforming it into a chandelier storage, restocking organs, taking out the trash, with a plane, and melting Iceland. To celebrate the completed to-do list, they take a swing at a bottle of 1945 Bordeaux.
At the plant itself, everyone runs off after Lenny catches on Smithers coming to the rest room to take someone for extra work, but Homer is late to cook his taquito. He takes him to the port where a safe arrives with a Gevrey-Chambertin inside, once owned by Napoleon Bonaparte, bought by Mr. Burns.
