The episode was written by Loni Steele Sosthand and directed by Matt Faughnan. It guest stars Chloe Fineman as Tasha and Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob.
Synopsis
- "The Simpsons encounter death on vacation at a high-end resort."
Production
Originally "The Beautiful Shame" had a production code 35ABF08.[1] However, in January of 2024 "The Yellow Lotus" script was read with this code,[2] while "The Beautiful Shame" was postponed.[3]
Mike Reiss and his wife Denise will appear as cameos in the background in a flashback.[4][5]
The melody of the “Yellow Lotus” song was written and sung by Kara Talve.[6]
