Chasing Apu is a movie based on Apu.

History[edit]

Clerks was one of the film that was showing at film festival in Springfield. When a character in the film said "Thank you, come again" asked Manjula to Apu if has seeing that movie before and he answer her at he was the creative consultant and the director like him so much at he based a later filn on him and show him a poster of the film Chasing Apu and adding at the studio made a few changes in the final cut.

Clerks was made by filmmaker Kevin Smith and his other movie was titled Chasing Amy.
