History

Krusty once asked Homer to donate to "Brotherhood of Jewish Clowns". Krusty went on to say that during the last year tornados claimed the lives of 75 Jewish clowns. He tells Homer that the worst incident was during their convention in Lubbock, Texas. Homer decides not to donate because it was a "religious thing", and he slammed the door in Krusty's face.

Behind the Laughter

Rock'n'roll singer Buddy Holly was shown as buried in Springfield Cemetery, but his grave is in the City of Lubbock Cemetery, his hometown.[2]
