Kuala Lumpur
Town/City Information
Country: Malaysia
First mentioned: "Bart Gets Famous"

Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia.

History

While reviewing his script for the evening news, Kent Brockman discovers he cannot pronounce the city's name, so he crosses it out and replaces it with "France". Later, after Bart steals his Danish, Brockman refuses to read the news, so Bumblebee Man takes his place and starts talking about how a tidal wave had hit Kuala Lumpur and killed 120 people.[1]

Tom Brokaw congratulates Chloe Talbot on a report she did about Kuala Lumpur, saying that it was "truly hard-hitting."[2]
