Shoplifters BEWARE is a public service film starring Troy McClure. It was shown to Bart by Don Brodka after Bart was caught shoplifting.
Synopsis
Troy is wearing a trenchcoat, and says that by appearing in the film he is "completing my plea bargain with the good people at Foot Locker of Beverly Hills." Troy says that shoplifting began in ancient Phoenicia where "Thieves would literally lift the corner of a shop in order to snatch the sweet, sweet olives within." As Troy narrates, in the background there is a recreation of the theft. Troy chides the thief: "Oh, Shakazaramesh, will you ever learn?" Troy's narrative then moves on to ancient Babylonia.
At that point, Brodka, showing the video to Bart, said "Show's over", turned off the TV and began lecturing Bart.
