History
When Marge tells Homer that she's afraid of him dying because of how often he hurts himself, she showed him a picture from a family vacation in Paris. The picture showed Homer with a load of French bread stuck through his lower body, and the Eiffel Tower could be seen in the background.[1]
Krusty apparently once threw a monkey off of the the Eiffel Tower.[citation needed]
When the Simpsons visited Blockoland, Homer bought Lisa a Blocko model of the Eiffel Tower. Lisa assembled the model in the car on the way home and found that a piece of one of the tower's legs was missing. When Lisa told Homer about the missing piece, he turned the car around, drove back to Blockoland and got the piece for her.[2]
