Pokey Mom is the tenth episode of the twelfth season.

Plot

After forcing the family to go to the Apron Expo (which she ironically was the only one not to enjoy it). they decided to go to a prison rodeo. There Marge meets a prisoner named Jack Crowley and believe he could be a great artist after witnessing some of his work. Marge decides that she is going to start an art class at the prison. Marge helps Jack get a parole under her custody. Jack needs a job so Marge gets him one at Springfield Elementary School. Jack paints a captivated picture which symbolizes school. Everyone loves the picture apart from Principal Skinner because he thinks its too childish. Jack then changes the picture, under Principal Skinners orders, and everyone hates it. Jack then goes mad and burns down the picture along with Skinner's car. Jack returns to jail because of this and is hated by Marge for lying to her that he didn't burn down the picture.

Homer, meanwhile, suffers from a back injury while he attended the prison rodeo and goes to see a chiropractor. After the chiropractor cannot fix his back Homer decides to try to make it better himself and accidentally does whilst falling over a battered garbage can. He then realizes that he can make a business out of this and names his creation "Dr. Homer's Miracle Spine-o-Cylinder". He fixes nearly everyones back in Springfield and it becomes a huge success. But, when Homer is tricked by chiropractors who are losing money, his garbage can is destoryed by them.
