Cultural references
- The title of the episode is a reference to the Paul Simon song "Graceland", in which he repeatedly sings the line "I'm going to Graceland".
- Comic Book Guy's vision of Heaven parodies Star Trek and Catwoman.
- In Disco Stu's discothèque vision of Heaven:
- The background music is "Get Dancin'" by Disco Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes.
- Frank Sinatra appears. When Stu asks Sinatra what he's doing there, Sinatra replies that for him, this is Hell.
Continuity
- Rachel Jordan, who last appeared in the episode "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily", makes a return appearance.
Goofs
- When the citizens are leaving the park in disappointment, Manjula, who is behind Apu, is yellow, has brown hair, and is wearing blue clothes.
