Shakespeare in the Park is a concept used across the world, as a form of free public presentation of William Shakespeare's plays.

History[edit]

Lisa and Marge went to one in Delacorte Theater, New York City when they blew their budget. It was cancelled when the Baldwin brothers and Sheen-Estevez clan got into an argument. Lisa wanted everyone to watch the play so she made her own.[1]

One was held in Springfield, with Sideshow Mel acting in it.[2]

Reception[edit]

According to the New York Post, it received negative reviews, although they liked Lisa.[1]
