Ronald James "Ron" Taylor (October 16, 1952 – January 16, 2002) was an American actor, singer, and writer. He voiced Bleeding Gums Murphy in the season 1 episode "Moaning Lisa", the season 6 episode "'Round Springfield".

He also performed the song "God Bless the Child" for The Simpsons Sing the Blues as Bleeding Gums Murphy. After his death, the season 13 episode "Sweets and Sour Marge" was dedicated to him. Archive audio was used of him singing in the season 24 episode "Whiskey Business".
