Hi, I was wondering what time area does Wikisimpsons follow? It says on various pages - "votes end June 1st 2010 Wikisimpsons time" - is it GMT or some other? Episodes[edit]

Hi, I was just wondering if the first paragraph on an episode (with info on writers, airdate, director etc) is really needed, seeing as all that information is present in the infobox? Also, the Manual of Style does not mention these paragraphs (to my knowledge anyway!) but simply asks for a brief summary of the plot. I would say a brief introduction to the episode, Episode X of season X would be wanted. However, nothing else is necessary. Hi, I was a little shocked to see that I have a warning?! I don't understand exactly what've I done wrong and I've in no way vandalised the wiki in such way. Great job[edit]

I haven't visited the site in a while, but it appears to be in much better shape than it was when I left it, and you have done a great job in helping to maintain it. There appear to be more active and dedicated users, which really helps. Is there a bot at this wikia? I think some of the categories need overhauling, but it would take a long time to do manually. I've been looking through Category:Characters voiced by guest stars, which is very poorly defined and contains several guests who appeared as themselves. There is also :Category:Guest Stars. I think that one needs to be renamed to "Guest stars". Then a new Category:Self-voicing guest stars needs to be created. So every guest star would go in "Guest stars". Then, for the in-universe aspect, guest stars who appeared as themselves would go in the self-voicing category. -- Brian McClure 22:18, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Episode Title Problem[edit]

Hi, Solar. There's a problem with the title for the episode "D'oh-in' in the Wind." It's in our wiki under two different titles:

"D'oh-in' in the Wind" (with an apostrophe after the first "in") - this seems to be the official title, per sources such as snpp.org, IMDB, and the Season 10 DVD.
"D'oh-in in the Wind" (no apostrophe) - the regular Wikipedia has it under this title, but based on the above, I say they've got it wrong.

In our wiki, the no-apostrophe version of the episode is the much better developed one, except for the Quotes tab. I suggest doing the following:

Delete the "with-apostrophe" version (except possibly for the Quotes tab, see #3 below).
Re-title the "no-apostrophe" version to have the apostrophe.
OPTIONAL: Merge the old "with-apostrophe" version of the Quotes tab into the re-titled article. I say "optional" because I've made a backup copy of the completed quotes page. I can paste it back in easily enough if the episode ends up with the bare-bones version of the Quotes tab.

All looks fine, including the Quotes tab. Well done! The Appearances and Credits tabs need to be expanded, but that was the case all along. Also, I know there are redlinks for "Groovy Grove Natural Farms." I put them in myself as I'm planning on writing that article, so they won't be red for long. And I'll go ahead and check on some of the episodes "peripheral" articles (such as Seth's and Munchie's) and make sure that 1) they link back to the episode OK, and 2) they've got the episode name spelled correctly. Hi, seeing as I've been shorting out noncanon templates for the episodes, is a template needed for the clip-show episodes? New templates[edit]

Just thought I'd let you know about a pair of new templates I made.

Template:No episode, for pages that don't specify a certain episode
Template:Deleted scene, for pages that are about things featured only in a deleted scene.

Also, could you please use your bot to add this to many of the mainspace navigation templates:

What it does is add a direct link so users can click "edit" or "view" without having to try to find the code. You can find an example here. Just remember to change the "template name" bit for each page (it shouldn't include the "template:" part). Baby Button Eyes[edit]

What's the stylistic issue with the Baby Button Eyes page? It might not be resolveable, in which case the best course would be to just delete that page.
