Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina named for Sir Walter Raleigh.

History[edit]

While in The Prodigy Barn toy store, Bart was playing a video game that involved blasting the capital cities of every state. He was having fun, until he realized that it was an educational game and threw the controller at the TV screen, exclaiming "That'll teach you to teach me!"[1]

Raleigh-Durham Skoal Bowl was a stop on the Hullabalooza nationwide tour which Homer joined as part of the freak show.[2]
