Baton Rouge (Red Stick in English) is the capital city of Louisiana.

History[edit]

While in The Prodigy Barn toy store, Bart was playing a video game that involved blasting the capital cities of every state. He was having fun, until he realized that it was an educational game and threw the controller at the TV screen, exclaiming "That'll teach you to teach me!"[1]

When Huey Long was fatally shot in Baton Rouge at the Louisiana State Capitol on September 8, 1935, Cornelius Chapman also toke one of the bullets. The footage was shown when Cornelius was honored at Springfield Pride Awards.[2]
