Bill Plympton (born June 30, 1946) is an American animator, cartoonist, director, producer, and screenwriter. He designed the Plymptoons couch gag for the season 23 episode "Beware My Cheating Bart", the season 24 episode "Black-Eyed, Please", the season 25 episode "Married to the Blob", the season 27 episode "Lisa the Veterinarian", the season 28 episode "22 for 30" and the season 29 episode "3 Scenes Plus a Tag from a Marriage". He is married to Sandrine Plympton.
