Zooey Claire Deschanel (born January 17, 1980) is an American actress, musician, and singer-songwriter. She voiced Mary Spuckler in the season 19 episode "Apocalypse Cow" and the season 24 episode "Moonshine River" and will again in the also season 24 episode "Love Is a Many-Splintered Thing"[1]. She also voiced herself in FOX's 25th Anniversary Special.
Deschanel also wrote the music and sang the lyrics for the song "The Ballad of Cylinder Head" which was in "Moonshine River".
