Treehouse of Horror IV is the fifth episode of the fifth season that aired on October 28 1993. It was the last Treehouse of Horror episode to contain the skits in between the three stories.

Synopsis

Opening Sequence

The camera zooms into a graveyard showing various tombstones and then the Simpsons home and the simpons break the floor and sit on the couch as zombies.


Introduction

Bart is seen walking around a room with paintings in light of Rod Serlings Night Gallery and tries to introduce the show but Marge and Maggie interupt telling Bart to tell the viewers the show is scary but Bart ignores and we watch the first part.

The Devil and Homer Simpson

Homer has a dream where a doughnut walks down a stage but wakes up to eat one only to find out Lenny and Carl have eaten them already. Homer then declares to sell his soul for a doughnut and the devil (played by Ned Flanders) gives one to Homer and tells him that if he finishes it Homer will live the remainder of his life in Hell.
