Synopsis[edit]

"Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse find themselves at the end of their rope, if only they can find a way to turn back the clock!""

Plot[edit]

Bart and Milhouse pretend that they have built a time machine. Lisa comes by and wants to play with them, but they will only let her do it if she follows their rules. Lisa wants to visit Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci and Abraham Lincoln, but Bart has another idea: they will go back to 1913 and visit Harry Houdini in New York. Milhouse plays Houdini and Lisa plays his wife, Bess Houdini. Bart and Lisa sit on the couch while Milhouse shows them some magic. His first trick is to unlock himself from some chains. He tries to get Lisa to kiss him give him the key, but she does not want to do it. Milhouse does it anyway because he pulled his stomach when they chained him. He drops his pants and Bart applauds. Milhouse's next trick is to break free from a straitjacket while he is in a box filled with water. When Milhouse jumps into the water-filled box, he splashes water on a broken electrical cord to the TV, and it catches fire. Bart tries to extinguish the fire with a lighter but it does not work. They run out of the house and don't know what to do. Professor Frink shows up with a real time machine that he made out of a washing machine. They jump into the machine and after a spin cycle, they have traveled one hour back in time and saved the house. They decide not to talk about the day again.
